It did, and it was insightful and thoughtful you mentioned it to him. It’s very easy when you’re in the situation to think the current state will hold. I’d consider a Mooney! You’ve been hooked on RV speed, why not get a fast 4 seater that sells at less than a Skyhawk and burns about 1/3 less fuel on a trip. My m20f has a 1050 useful, just flew it from MI to Florida, did 130-150kts on 8.5gph.
