Wreckage of missing plane, pilot's body found near Snoqualmie Pass

The plane took off from Arlington Municipal Airport on Sunday afternoon, but never arrived at its destination in Ephrata.

Didn’t see this posted elsewhere.
I crossed the pass (by car) westbound around 1800ish, large storm cells all around and extending quite a ways into Eastern Washington. Very high winds even though we weren’t directly under them. Dad and I just happened to discuss that we wouldn’t want to be up in it.

Rest in peace to the pilot.
 
Sorry to hear this. I am at the Ephrata Airport this week flying my glider and towing. Yesterday didn’t have much in the way of Thunderstorms. Sunday did though…
